Music City Camaro Club Spring Fling -pics/vids
Okay here is a thread for all club members to post up pics & video from our fantastic car show & drag race event. We had a blast. We had a great turnout for both the car show & the racing. Race winners: 1st - GMteSSted, 2nd - GnyaTek, 3rd - Heaven is inferno orange, 4th - RubyCamaro. The racing was not only great fun there were lots of very close great races throughout the comptetion. Congrats to all. Sadly one club member (votaman96) blew his driveshaft. :( Let's get the bad news over with first though there will be more pics & video to come as it was a rather spectacular (not in a good way) failure.

During the course of the day all of our camera batteries one by one died except for one person's. So it will take us all to doccument the full event. Now I will post a (very bad quality) video of me beating a Mustang GT in time trials, my time sheets & then some pics. BTW I also whuped some SS again.
I have to appologize for the lousy quality video & there are better videos from other cameras but just for now, here is me beating the Mustang GT. I beat an SS in the races but it was by breakout in bracket racing. Still.....I beat him. In time trials I beat another SS by time but his reaction time was better so he won. Out of 16 5th Gen Camaros racing in the bracket race, I was the only V6 & I came out in 4th place. I thought that was not to too shaby. That is about all I got before my camera died. I do have one more video (poor quality - I have to get me a better photographer LOL) but I am going to review it before deciding wheter or not to post it since I know there are better quality clips of that same run. Now other folks need to download your pics & vids.

Here's my time slip from the run before I broke my driveshaft. I was in the right lane, GMteSSted was in the left.

This is what happens occasionally with time trials ... you get placed up against someone whose vehicle doesn't really match up to yours...
