Feel so dumb asking this...facepalm.
Ughhh here it goes. Feel so stupid. I am looking to get red rally stripes on my car. I've owned 3 Camaro's. None with stripes. Fml. Here we go. Are the stripes painted on or is it just a big sticker? Guh.

You can buy an OEM vinyl kit or go aftermarket on ebay

Most are vinyl but you can always have them painted on! I like both types.

I assume vinyl are cheaper? Also I looked at Chevy and they don't offer red. Guess I will be looking on ebay?

Yea bigworm has decent prices and if you've never used vinyl before check out how to properly apply a dry decal on youtube, or you can pay a shop maybe 20-40 bucks to do it for you.

I'm not one to likely mess with vinyls either, lol.
Luckily we have two stripers at work that do all the graphics, stripes, and lettering on the trucks we build...so finding someone capable of doing it nice for a couple dollars isn't a problem.

Commits weekly crime

Get the stripes painted on. You will not regret it.
The best thing about painted stripes is that you can use a factory color. Or any color you want.

I'll disagree with this statement. Since you've stated you have never had stripes on a car before, get the vinyl and see if you actually like them and the color first. You can always have them painted down the road. JMHO
