How much will it cost me to add Fog Lights to a 2LS?

Would it be cheaper if i did it myself or mechanic? and will it void the warranty?

The cost depends on how u want it done. And depending on your mechanical ability, im pretty sure u could do it yourself. It was my first mod and i knew nothing about cars when i started.

oracle has a kit for 279 that includes all you need. if you can work a screwdriver you can do it. all you need is a screwdriver with a torx bit and a pliers pretty easy in my book

I've read the Blinglights have fit issues. I bought OEM replacements housings and bezels for about $80.00 total. Now, all I need is wiring.

fitment wasnt bad at all. i didnt use the brackets they came with either. i just drilled 2 holes in the fog light holder and i have bolts that fit into the sides of the fog lights so there not going anywhere. plus i got 3m tape on the back of both lights. u can also make your own lil bracket that will still fit in the same holes with the same screws. just the bracket needs to be bigger to fit around the fog light housing(this is how my homeboy did his, he found some stuff from homedepot). so its not bad at all as far as fitment. wiring is self explanatory. i just wired it up front and put on the side ground panel when i do want to use it

I bought foglight housings from a 2011 chevy tahoe, same as camaro but cheaper and found bezels on ebay for super cheap as well as a wiring harness on ebay. Total was around $170

Hello, I got my bezels and lights off of eBay and installed them myself. Very easy mod to do yourself. I have about $80.00 in mine. I bought a set of Tahoe lights and they came with the wiring. All I had to do is switch my bezels and install the lights. After that I ran my wire harness and hooked it up to my side marker light that way it does not come on with my daytime running lights but turns on when the marker lights turn on. So they are on at night with your headlights so you really don't need to use your brights. The wiring harness comes with a on/off switch if you would rather control them that way. I ran the harness through the air dam brackets underneath the car to keep it out of the way of things and so you would not see any wires hanging down. Hope that helps!
