New Coating Options!

We have two great new coating options for our customers!


Airborn Coatings (READ MORE HERE)- Airborn is a company as old as Jet Hot with similar products, and the same or better quality. With Airborn, we offer 1700 degree Silver Jet Coating coating for free. This would be comparable to Jet Hot Extreme Sterling Silver. They have a Black or Gray that is $50 extra. We have already done several customers headers in Airborn’s silver coating with great results!


Calico Coatings (READ MORE HERE)- Calico Coatings is an Aftermaket/Race/Industrial coater based in the heart of North Carolina Race Country. After an evaluation process, Kooks has now chosen Calico as their PREFERRED Coater! With Calico, we off their silver, or black coatings for free! One thing to note is that their Silver CT-23 CoolKrome coating has a 1200 degree rating. The reason this coating is rated lower is because Calico rates it on what temperature it can continuously withstand over a long period of time. Our other 1700 degree coatings are rated as such based on what they can withstand for short intervals. Long and short, Calico Silver CoolKrome is basically the same performance wise as Jet Hot 1700 Extreme Sterling, and Airborn 1700 Jet Coat.

What about Jet Hot?

We have sold Jet Hot coating for many years as a featured product. In that time the company has been bought twice, closed/moved plants, and went through a number of changes. Despite all of that, we had remained loyal to them. In their latest reorganization however, they were bought by a private equity firm that has made a number of signifigant changes. The biggest one is they eliminated their dealer pricing program, which more than doubled our cost of coating to like $400 shipped. This affected all their dealers including even Kooks themselves.

With such a price increase we unfortunatly cannot continue to offer their coating for free. From now on, we will still offer Jet Hot, but it will be an added cost option for customers who want to pay for the name. Also, anyone who has bought Jet Hot from us in the past will still of course have their warranty.


Kooks Headers-

With this special, all orders for BOTH Kooks headers or mid pipes will come with your choice of Free Coating, or an extra discount. All orders over $250 ship for free! This applies to 1 3/4", 1 7/8" and Signature Series (1 3/4" x 1 7/8" Stepped headers). The Stepped headers are the most powerful Camaro header on the market making 8 more HP than a standard 1 7/8" header in our tests!
