JRE TUNER FIREWIRE?

So what exactly does this do and where do I connect it?

It is used to connect 0-5v referenced anolog inputs from a Wide band O2 gauge, EGT gauge, electronic boost gauge, Etc.

For logging these devices along with your PIDs.

Well my engine has a CAI and race scoop right now I just received the tuner and throttle body in the mail from you Ted and I went ahead and ordered it wasn't sure if I needed it or not... So lol do I need it or do I now have a FireWire I don't need yet?

You only need it if you Want to Log AFR or the Like as stated above.

If not you can just store it in your glove box with the tuner for later use..

Yes, as your project progresses and they all do.

At some point I will need you to log to fine tune the combination.

So good for future use.

AFR= Air Fuel Ratio
EGT= Exhaust Gas Tempurature.

Yea I bought this as well, and have no idea how to wire it up or how it works, is there a DIY or better instructions to see how to do it...

hey, I want a wide band again..... What r we talking about here...????? Is it a wide band for SCT?? Cant use a wide band on my regular version of HP tunners..... Email me with info and price Ted... thanks.

The regular version of HP does not have provisions for accepting a 5V input but the SCT does with the fire wire.

Any Aftermarket Wide band that has a 5V output wire can be used, we Like the AEM wideband.
