Fog Wiring....

Okay so I asked a question on how to wire fogs to have them only on at night and received a lot of helpful suggestions and got them all wired up. They look amazing! So thanks a lot guys.

Here's my question, my good friend and neighbor also owns an ls. He liked how mine looked and asked if I could help him install his that he just got. He wants his on all the time that the turns the car on. How would I wire that? I was thinking wiring from the battery post but then they wouldn't turn off when the car is off. So does anyone know how to do it?

You would have to tap into a source that is on with the ignition. I can't think of a source off the top of my head. Good luck

I believe the "cig lighter" is an ignition on power source.
Or you could do as you mentioned and tap directly into a 12V source, and just wire up a simple switch in the cabin.

I would do the cig but that fuse is in the cabin and would really like something in the engine bay. He doesn't want to run a switch. So that's out :(

Fuse #15 under the hood is only on when the ignition is on.

Talk to Ofer (2SSRS), he does a harness for that exact setup. plugs into factory weiring, relay and fuse protected. The best way to do it
