Fog Wiring....
Okay so I asked a question on how to wire fogs to have them only on at night and received a lot of helpful suggestions and got them all wired up. They look amazing! So thanks a lot guys.
Here's my question, my good friend and neighbor also owns an ls. He liked how mine looked and asked if I could help him install his that he just got. He wants his on all the time that the turns the car on. How would I wire that? I was thinking wiring from the battery post but then they wouldn't turn off when the car is off. So does anyone know how to do it? |

You would have to tap into a source that is on with the ignition. I can't think of a source off the top of my head. Good luck

I believe the "cig lighter" is an ignition on power source.
Or you could do as you mentioned and tap directly into a 12V source, and just wire up a simple switch in the cabin. |

I would do the cig but that fuse is in the cabin and would really like something in the engine bay. He doesn't want to run a switch. So that's out :(

Fuse #15 under the hood is only on when the ignition is on.

Talk to Ofer (2SSRS), he does a harness for that exact setup. plugs into factory weiring, relay and fuse protected. The best way to do it
