New Stripe Kit Installed....

I installed the GM Heritage Stripe Kit (20990193) this weekend. I like it, and it matches my CGM stripes perfectly. I was kinda worried about it looking a little too "Mopar-esque", but now after seeing it in person, I think it looks more like a new style (contemporary) Yenko stripe!!! It really changes the whole look of the car. What do ya'll think???

Also installed a new shift knob last weekend, along with the shifter bushings from NH-SS. Wow, what a difference!!! Eventually, the new shift knob button will activate the SJM line lock I have waiting to go in.

WoW... that was the PERFECT touch for your car. Back in 09 I was at a graphics shop here trying to do something similar for my CGM car w/ a Yenko theme. So I'm a huge fan of this one.

Love the Welds too. This car is pure muscle... nice job

Nice! I am very, very jealous of your wheel and tire combo. Also what does the 12v push button on your shifter go to? Line-lock or nitrous?

Thanks Mike!!! It was a tough decision between this and the COPO style stripes.

Thank You! The button isn't doing anything right now, but will be going to a line-lock soon.

That's actually quite funny- I was thinking of getting those- a GM parts guy told me about them 2 days a go at Joliet race- had been thinking of getting a blue color sheme- would love to see it photo shopped on the SIM.

Love the shifter and the plate name too (dang it-still trying to pick my 5 for a Veteran plate).

Some local folks are getting the front plate holder you have- seems to work the best with our front C% Creation bra and also still failrly easily removable for car shows/track. Not sure though if its legal to bend the plate that much-need to verify our state PITA laws.
Thanks Tim, I think blue would look great too, especially on SIM!!! But unfortunately, I don't think GM makes this kit in any blue color. But I know Rider Graphix makes the same style stripes, and they will give you whatever color you want. And the front license plate holder is make by JacFab, excellent quality and very easy to install. I figured a bent plate was a lot more legal than no plate at all!!!
