If it was me and holes weren't drilled I would let the dealer do it. If they mess it up it's on them, if you mess it up you will be pissed off and it will cost more to fix

Contact becky@rogers. She can get you a template that you lay on the trunk lid to mark where you drill. It is the same template they use at the dealer service department. Also, lay down several layers of painters tape when you drill. It will help avoid scratching the lid should your bit slip and it will help prevent the metal shavings from scratching as well.

Edit: Here is a simple "how to". http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=204678
It looks like you get a template in the box, BUT if you don't, contact becky. She can hook you up!

its just 4 holes. as long as u have a template you cant go wrong. drilling was the easy part. finding that damn 3rd brake light plug behind the seat is a b*%*#(
but its not bad at all

I thought overall the entire thing sucked. It definitely is a two person job, no working around that.

Every part of it for me was frustrating and I wouldn't want to do another.

But I did it because I don't want to pay some outrageous install charge.

Took me about 4 hours to do with a friend, but it can be done faster if you know what you're doing.

The harness part took me about 45 minutes because I was dumb and kept trying to pull it off with my hand. Use a super small flat blade and you can unclip the harness in two senconds.
