To stripe or not to stripe

I have a 2012 Crystal Red Tintcoat SS and when I purchased it the dealer offered to put the Rally stripes on it and I advised him I would let him know.

Now that I have had the car for a few weeks Im not sure
Not many of this color in Colorado and when I had my 69 z/28 of corse it had stripes

The dealer told me they make flat black and glossy black

What are peoples thoughts about the rally stripes
Yeah I know its a personal choice'
Thanks for the input

Victory Red = Yes
Red Tintcoat = No
Silver Ice = No

I think the Red Tintcoat is too dark for the black stripes.
I saw a Silver Ice with Black, and didn't think it looked that hot.
The Victory Red looks good with black stripes.

Man, I love my CRT too much to cover it up. I was gonna get thinner rally stripes painted on, but decided I wanted hood spears, so I am getting flat black hood spears. The factory rally stripes are too big.

I like flat black with CRT, but dark silver looks almost as good. I doubt I will ever put large stripes on my car, CRT is too pretty of a color to cover up

That's why I plan on removing mine and just having hood spears. Too much vinyl for me IMO.

Not sure but someone will chime in. They are around $70 from BigWorm, MnP, etc. I think and you can have custom text put into them if you want to. TBH, the dealer will probably charge more than other vendors.

I think I would go with just a thin pin strip along the hood/fender crease. You have your stripes and you don't cover much of the paint at all. Maybe a silver or white pearl.

I don't like the rally stripes myself. I just don't care for the shapes of them and they're usually only on the hood and trunk. I really like the pace stripes across the whole car and if they're the same width all the way across. Hood spears can also give a subtle, nice touch.

I'd go with either silver or white stripes.
