Vararam Questions.
So I was checkin out some threads about the Vararam Cold Air intake and it was pretty impressive. I checked on their website and it looks like they have a 2010 SS version for it. Assuming that 2010 and 2011 are sort of different would the SS Vararam CAI 2010 fit an 2011 SS automatic?

It's an awsome intake, it performs on the street and the track. Forget about looking at the dyno results that's not real world. Just my .2 bud. Good luck.

people can say what they want about intakes, but some of the fastest LS shops in the country turn to Vararam time after time when it comes to intakes...

I agree 100% with everything stated above, I picked up .3 at the track with the only change to the car being the Vararam intake.

Vararam intakes flow excellent and it's hard to argue the look of an OTR style intake. They make good power and are easy to install as well. They are a big seller for us and all feedback has been pretty positive thus far. As posted earlier they only fit the 2010-20111 models with 2012s on the way.

Well, I've seen the banner adds at the top of the screen every now and then for the VR intake advertising 40+ HP for the V8. All I will say is, yeah right.
Install is fairly straightforward IF it fits, and you will also have to tilt your radiator. Ram air doesn't matter unless you're going like 300 mph, although there is probably an advantage to the short tube length and more direct airflow into the engine i.e. no 90 degree bend in the tube.

I have it as well, no troubles, nothing but love for it. Runs strong and hard, i definatly picked up a few tenths at the dragstrip as well. I even painted mine to match my car with no problems at all. as far as install goes , it was easy as pie.
