GMConnects shut down
Got this email below, wont be able to track my ZL1 with ease now....
Subject : Tracking status Body : > To All GMConnects customers - > > We regret to inform you that we have decided to temporarily shut-down our service due to a technical issue. In order for us to continue the service as we have in the past, we were required to change our data source. This would mean added resources that we are just not willing to commit to at this point. The service actually has much more functionality then what was made available and a new data source would negatively impact the applications architecture. > > We also want you to know that we will shortly begin discussions with General Motors about making GMConnects a permanent service for all GM customers. Thanks to the literally hundreds who have sent testimonials regarding our service - your feedback will be forwarded to the appropriate folks at General Motors during our negotiations. > > In the meantime, please contact your dealer or GM customer service department at GM 1-800-222-1020 for your updated information. We will still be available to answer any of your ordering questions. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to have our services restored in the near future. > > Your GMConnects Team! > Thanks |

To ALL of you at GMconnects, Please let me know where I need to write to make sure you become a Permanent fixture to GM. You made the long wait for my car bearable. Trying to find out the information you provided would have been impossible. You became a part of my day when I woke to look for updates to my cars progress. A BIG THANKS!!! Let me know who to write to.

Mods, can I let these GM customers know where to write to without the post being deleted?

Can you find out anything about my car, I have a 12 rollover and have been at 3800 since 19 June. This is really frustrating since I originally ordered this car back in November and went throught the first QC in March only to find out my car rolled over and now it has sat for a month with no info. I keep getting canned answers. QJNXMK, vin #182. Thanks. |

I am really going to miss assisting with tracking and chatting with such wonderful GM customers. It has been a pleasure working with Hylton, Larry and Eric, and all those who help to make it such a great site. Awesome people.
:( Lisa

The best thing about this whole experience is how many GM customers told us we "nailed it". We were able to make GM customers happier with the experience than GM could or would.
