Project in my mailbox today

Just received my ABL dash light kit from Ofer today. Wow super fast shipping i just ordered it on the 18th! Thank you so very much Ofer! Has anyone in the DFW area installed this kit yet? I have read all the DIY's but being a newbie at this I maybe in over my head! I would appreciate any tips and trick from my fellow Camaro lovers on here as I would like to tackle this install soon! Thanks again Ofer for your fantastic products and services!

Congrats in the kit. The installation is pretty straight forward thought it depends on what technique you are going for. There are several. There is the one with drilling a hole in your dash and sanding the paint off the top of the dash trim, there is the same technique but without drilling a hole in the dash(don't worry the hole is not noticeable when you put the trim on), and the weatherstripping which you don't need to sand your panels but you would still need to figure out if you want to drill into your dash. It's a fast install only will take you like a hour or two depending if you have the right tools for the job or not. Only frustration I had was getting the led to far side of the dash board, but if you have fish tape you'll be good to go on that. Good luck and have fun.

Sanding the paint off the trim? Ian also concerned about everything fitting flush as before.

Make sure to post some pics when you're done. Ofer is great and I'm sure his kit works well, but I've never seen anyone actually sue it. If yours comes out good I know what my next mod will be!
