Dyno today pics and video

Put my SS on the dyno today at a local show. Im thrilled with the numbers.

Approx 500hp @ the flywheel, 412hp @ the wheel & 419 torque. Only performance mine has is RotoFab CAI and Flowmaster AT catback exhaust. There was another SS there that had the Dynotech exhaust system and it ran 388 @ the wheel. Heres some pics and a video

Lined up waiting

on the dyno

Video (the real run is towards the end so keep watching)

I'd pay to see that dyno sheet or there's more done to the car.

Angie, nobody including myself is disputing you were on the dyno and that is the sheet you were given. The disbelief on my part and a few others is the accuracy of those numbers. 1st, a flywheel HP of 500 and a RWHP of 412 suggest you have A6 due to a nearly 18% parasitic loss. There is zero chance an intake and catback could ever gain 100 flywheel HP or 412RWHP on an A6 with only those mods.

I know it's an LS3 and stock you would have a great car if it came up at 375RWHP. Knowing that there simply isn't a CAI & catback out there alone that could achieve 74 flywheel HP & 37 RWHP

So, either the car has more performance mods you didn't list or the dyno itself is wrong or, was set to give you and others bigger numbers than what you really have. This happens far too often.

I'd seriously question these numbers.

I like the look of your car very much. Very cool. People can say what they like but the 1st SS (M6)I drove was a not very fast. But the next 2 had way more power. So you may have got lucky and got one on the high in of the HP range.

The 1st one you drove may have had 87 octane in it. This would drop it into low octane mode making it indeed slower. Run out that fuel, fill up with premium. Pull fuses #5 & #20 for several hrs or overnight. Pop em back in and the ECM will reset to high octane. Now the power is back.
