1LE vs ZR-1 transitioning.

Hey guys I was doing some research and came across these two clips,
,
. from 30 seconds to 1:16 on the 1LE clip and from 30 sec. to say 1:15 on the ZR-1. Watch , compare the 2 and tell me what you think. Do you think the 1LE Camaro SS really doesn't handle as well as very few think it does. Notice the speed the 1LE carried through the dangerous twisty section of this track vs the speed the ZR-1 managed. The 1LE managed to stay in the high teens like 117mph range while the ZR-1 went below 110mph .

The ZR1 kills the 1LE in every performance aspect. There is no contest.
You can't really compare these videos because the cars are driven on 2 different days by 2 different drivers.

You know what that doesn't always fly buddy the old different drivers thing , I am sure Mark Gilles is a good enough driver and was when he drove this ZR-1 in great conditions with the sun out the way it was. The point is that going through the twistees the 1LE maintained good speed and the ZR-1 maybe didn't feel safe in that area. More power doesn't always mean better overall. There are other courses where even the ZR-1 was only minimal over much less powered cars. And oh didn't this supposedly not so good driver in the ZR-1 still achieved a good lap time overall. My point was that the 1LE still does well in certain aspects and no I don't expect the 1LE to come close or equal the vette on all corners.

It's crazy how much faster the tach climbs in the Vette over the Camaro. It does seem more twitchy but I guess that's what 200+ hp and a hell of a lot less weight will do for you. I've never driven a ZR1 but it looks like you really heve to be on your game when pushing that bad boy.

Very much so, that really is a high 10sec car off the floor. Will be a great used car in years to come maybe 5 years it will be say $40000 or so down from $125,000, hmmmmm. What do you think.
