Arrow Alas, Bee meets law enforcement (photo included)

So, this happened one fine Sunday a few weeks ago. It was a gorgeous evening out here in Northeast Ohio. The sun was setting and the lighting was perfect. My friend and I were going on a cruise in the Camaro. We had the windows down, sunroof open, music playing, it was going to be a great evening!….

Until I saw flashing lights in my rearview mirror. Alas, my first encounter with law enforcement had finally arrived. I pulled off into a neighborhood and put my Camaro in park. The cop came up to my window, asked me if I "saw the stop sign back there", I nicely explained that I did stop at the stop sign, he then explains that he can show me the video of me not stopping at the stop sign. He was super nice about it and what not, so I apologized for not stopping and he proceeds to tell me how beautiful and pretty my Camaro is. He says this not one, not two, but three times. He takes my license and runs my information, comes back and says again how pretty my car is then says "well, I know how we can all be in a hurry sometimes, here's a warning."

Ha. What an experience. It was bizarre. I'm pretty sure Mr. Officer just wanted to look at my car and I. Which is fine by me, he was really cool about it. I can only hope in the future, all encounters with law enforcement will go that smoothly

Here's a photo I snapped while I was waiting to get my license back:

Most of it has do to with attitude. If she would have been a "B" to the officer, I'm sure he would have scratched out a cite. That's what I do.

I would have said show me the video. Too many times do law enforcement officer say one thing and do another. Such things like the use of turn signals. Seriously LEOs, there are bigger fish to fry.

We get a lot of good arrests' on vehicle stops. You'd be surprised. One easy way NOT to get pulled over; obey the law. There's always gonna be bigger fish to fry but sometimes we start out with the smaller fish that may lead to the bigger one.

Word. I didn't blame the trooper that got me in Kansas for doing 91 in a 75. He was in a spot so that my radar detector had no chance to warn me and he used instant on.
I was polite and thanked him for his time.
Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.
