New VFN "Sunoco" 4" Cowl Hood installed...

For those of you who are on the fence about this hood... get off and put your orders in. It's so awesome.

Had to take it back to the shop to get it wetsanded and buffed a bit more since there was a bit of a texture to the clearcoat that skewed the sharpness of all the reflections. Looks pretty good now and I couldn't be happier with the fit!

WoW! Price? And any pics of the underside? Does it route to the CAI box?

$615 for the bolton, $450 for the pin-on. No, it doesn't route to the CAI box but if you use ACS's 'operational mailslot' kit, it will become 100% functional. It's slightly functional as it is.

I'll make sure to get an underside pic.

I usually hate cowl hoods on a 5th gen but that thing looks sweet

I dont really like this hood... makes the car looks like it has a really big nose -only my opinion though

I think i would prefer the ram air hood

Looks good!! Can you post a pic from inside the car showing the hood from a drivers view? I'm debating between this hood and the MPD1 hood.

Yuck. I hate how it is taller in the middle than at the back.

Don't like it at all.

Sunoco makes some really nice stuff. I had their 4" cowl hood on one of my 4th Gen Camaro's. Fit and finish was outstanding.

How's 1 and 2 0'clock visibility (considering the rearview mirror and blacked out mirror tint on the windshield)?

Agreed, seems a bit pretentious. Purpose built drag car maybe. Just not my fav if it's a DD car

No offense but it's doesn't look drastically different from yours and it's way less than yours.

Don't get me wrong, I like your cowl hood a lot but it's kind of similar.
