Toyo R888 vs Hoosier R6
I've been running an R888 setup on my camaro for track days, running a 295/19 in the front and a 305/19 in the rear. To say the least, they make a HUGE difference on the track. They provide a ton of grip. My R888's are at the end of their life and I need to buy a new set of track tires. I've been looking at the Hoosier R6. I would want to run a 295/30/19 up front, and a 325/30/19 in the rear. Keep in mind, these would not be for street driving, and just for the track.
How does the R6 stack up against the R888?

The R6 is a much softer compound and will not last as long as the 888's but they are incredible once they get some heat in'em. I would not go to R6's unless you have some suspension mods to stiffen things up. You might also find that the off-setting 295/325 will promote a little more understeer.

Have you tried the NT01's or RS-3's?

I run 285's all-around and they are intense on the track. I think some of the Pedders cars are running 305's on all 4 corners |

We have compared these tires on a different car and the hoosiers are a much better tire. You won't be disappointed in performance.
