Thunder Racing Camshafts

Is anyone on Camaro5 running one the cams offered by Thunder Racing? I did some searching and saw several guys considering them but did not see anyone who actually has one. Any feedback guys? I have been looking at their TruTorq line of cams. Seems like they have put up some decent numbers. Thanks for any info!

Do a google search on thunder racing. The company is having major internal issues and lots of people arent getting their stuff/getting scammed.

Thunder Racing is local to me and they have been in the LS game for a long time. From what I understand they have changed ownership or something to that affect which is where the problems are coming from.

That being said, I happily drive the 45 minutes to see the guys over at Lethal Racing in Lafayette. I find them much more professional and easier to deal with.

I don't know anything about Thunder-racing's new ownership or internal issues...but 10-12 yrs ago (and as recent as 4-5 yrs ago), they were well respected and reliable.

I've ran several of their cams in my 4th Gen LS1 cars, and have spent several thousand dollars with them on engine parts/heads etc. I've always been happy with their customer service. But again that was several years ago.

Go to Lethal. Your 45min drive is nothing compared to my 3hr drive that I go through for great service and my longer drive to ADM is well worth it.
