getting the stripes on the hood and trunk replaced after the dealer burnt them with a buffer is it safe how to use normal spray wax on them say after I wash the car

Ive never tried wax but I wiped them w/armorall wipes because of water spots,it looked good

Are they matte or gloss? If gloss, you're ok to use a synthetic sealant or spray. If matte, you want to avoid them with anything but soap and water.
