*gasp* Mustangs!!!
If you hate them, sorry. A buddy of mine and I met up with his long time friend tonight who owns a 1967 GT500E built by what used to be Unique Performance before they went belly up with the whole title washing fiasco.
Mods on my GT are RTR wheels, RTR body kit, Eibach ProSystem, BMR Panhard bar, Ford Racing tune, 3" x-pipe, 3" mid pipes, GT500 mufflers, Saleen grille. Mid 12 second car. The black GT has 60lb. injectors, Boss 302 Intake manifold, Eibach Sportlines, Boss front end, Roush grille, AED E85 tune, full 3" exhaust with cat deletes, BMR LCA relocation brackets, BMR 3rd link mount and some other suspension pieces. High 11 second car. The 67 speaks for itself, and it's got the 427 bored out to a 482 with the blower. Makes 800+hp and is loud and mean as hell. Enjoy the pics, and sorry for the quality, they were taken with an old Canon point and shoot.

I would take the GT500E any day of the week. Those cars are works of art. Of course, I happen to LOVE Chip Foose's designs...so that is why I love the Eleanors.

That was a real bummer that Unique went out of business. It's a shame to see something so promising get so badly destroyed by a lack of professionalism.
They'll probably just re-open the shop under a different name, though, after they get past all the legal stuff...

I call BS on those 1/4 mile times. You're saying a virtually unmodded (power-wise) GT can achieve times that approach the 662HP 2013 Shelby GT500 with launch control?
BS x 1 milion. Similarly, I call BS on your GT times too - you're basically claiming a time very close to the ZL1 with wider tires and launch control and 100HP more than you. |

Black Gt with those mods going high 11's unless your leaving out a mod or two. 67 gt500 making 800 hp well I couldn't see under the hood so I can't really comment on that one. But it would have to be a modern blower on the 482.

Okay, I checked the stock times for the 2011 GT, and some have gotten 12.7s so I take back what I said about the mid 12s. |

I've run a 12.52@115 on my Hankook Evo V12s (275) and the black GT ran an 11.9x@118 on the summer Pirellis (255). His car squats and goes and for some reason puts the power down out of the hole much better. He can also hold each gear much longer due to the much higher redline. AED is the first tuning company to break the hard limiter on the Coyote (7750rpm). I'm running a conservative Ford Racing tune since my car is my daily. My car also has 3.73 gears and so does his (Brembo cars come standard with them, mine was a separate option).
