Will I need a retune if I swap out the resonators with straight pipes? I just installed kooks stepped headers with high flow cats and I want to delete the resonator. The performance shop that I'm going to currently does not have 2.5" pipe to replace the corsa resonator, but I'm going on Monday to get the tune. I asked and they said I won't need to retune it if I decide to take them out later down the road. They said anything after the cats does not affect the tune. Is this true? Just want to double check. Thanks!

No need to retune. They'll have little to no effect.

Don't they cause a lot of restriction on the air flow to make the exhaust quieter?

The corsas are a straight through design. They only exist to combat the harmonics of the AFM in the L99. Even with a stock exhaust there's very little to be gained in these cars from the cats back.
