I was surprised my 2013 1LT doesnt have a CD Player. Did GM do away with them????

Yes. The Mylink system does not have a CD player.

I'm not surprised.... I don't even remember the last time I purchased a cd.

I believe it's still available on the LS.

+1. My wife and I have cd players in our dd's and neither of us have used them forever. Even at 50 we're joining the tech crowd.

It makes me feel old, but yes, CDs have gone the way of the 8 track and audio casette...

I still buy CD's but I usually transfer them to mp3's the day I get them. then just keep them as a back up if the computer dies. I use cd's in the car but they are copies and I have a couple radios that take the ipod and listen to those using the ipod around the house. I hook the Ipod up to the aux connection for long trips(dont have the package that has the nicer connection for the ipod in the camaro) still use cd but will buy an extra ipod when i get the next camaro. probably have alot more room in the glove compartment

Ah, nothing like cruising to your favorite song to have it go down in volume, the click of the track changing, and then the song picking back up again. Let alone wanting to hear the song again with the no rewind function.

I've almost solely used my iPod since I got my Camaro 3 years ago, but in the last 6 months or so I've used my CD player. Bought a cd and haven't got around to putting it on the iPod so I just leave the disc in.
