Blacked out Bowtie- Who sells them?
Ive seen the Blacked out bowtie on a few cars, mine will be black with CGM hood/hockeys I think it would look good... or maybe a CGM bowtie?
Who sells them?

you can have them painted or i think someone had vinyl on theirs...I would say paint it.

Powdercoating is the best way to go. I saw a company that sold black ones, but it didnt have the chrome outline and they looked really crappy IMO.

You can get vinyl. I don't know where they are getting them though. My thought, with vinyl you can always take it off. Better resale value.

I'm getting mine painted black. I just had my stripes painted and the shop had to take the back bowtie off to reclear the trunk and since it was no good anymore, I told them to paint it black so I could see what it looked like. It looked great, so I'm having them buy a new rear and front bowtie to paint black. I figure, paint is better than vinyl, and if I don't like it, the bowties only cost like $20-$30 to get from chevy if I need to put gold ones back on.

The Defenderworx ones seem to fit inside the chrome outline, replacing only the factory goldish part. This is a pic of the chome one installed, but you see what I mean.

Defenderex Doesn't Have what they advertise yet
All they have is the fuel door and door sills. Pretty lame to lead you to believe they are available when they aren't.
