Bad gas, good octane booster?

I went brain dead at the gas station and pumped regular unleaded in my SS. I know I will need to do a fuse pull later, but in the meantime I have a tank full of crappy gas!

Stuff has to be cheaper than the cost difference between reg and premium, wonder if this is a cheaper alternative when the prices get sky high again..... Buy Regular, add octane boost....

Lucas and Torco would be the only thing I would use and I wouldnt want to depend on them every fill up. I think 2 bottels of Lucas for 3pt gain or 1 bottle of torco for the same. Not 100percent sure on the amount.

Most octane boosters dont work. Torco, Lucas and another brand I cant think of at the moment are the only ones Ive seen that work.

I don't have much for expectations. Just trying to minimize the problem!

I did the same last week. Luckily I caught it and stopped at one dollar. I've had the car for over three years and this was the first time.

You can't. Our gas tanks have a anti-siphon valve in them.

Thanks everyone. First time making this mistake in over 3 years, but it still pisses me off!
15 miles into the tank and I can already tell the difference.

What got me was I always stop at an Exxon. But last week I went to Atlanta to pick up my brother from the airport and stopped at a Chevron. Even though I saw the writing, my brain made me push the red button.
