XM radio rate increase.

I just got a letter from SiriusXM about a raise in rates for subscribers. Overall I like XM. My local radio stations are mostly top 40, so I like the variety XM has.

I am thinking about downgrading my plan from the "select" plan to the "mostly music" plan which will save me $5.00 a month.

I was wondering if anyone else had the Mostly Music plan and how they liked it.

They claim it is due to increase in royalty payments. I like the variety that is available that you cant get otherwise. Music SQ could be a lot better but I don't listen to it very often. Everything in life is more expensive and they just want their share, fair or not.

Music was free for thousands of years, then Edison came along and figured out how to record it. Then someone figured out you could make money off of it at someone elses expense. Now with the internet it is going back to free and well I guess after just 100 years those people kinda got used to making money. I say tough $%^t.

Any word on changes in the cost of the lifetime plan? Was $500 for my 2010 Duramax. Just got the Camaro & still on my 3 month trial.
