Not really, Camera is worth $1300, Lens about the same price, and my friend had an external flash which is around $500.

Next time do a 30 second with no halos and then a second shot at fast speed with halos on while still on tripod, then just layer them in photoshop. It is a sharp photo none the less.

I mean it's not bad! But there are cameras out there that cost 5+, lens that we shot this on was nice though.

Yeah it's an awesome picture man. You should get a few more locations with a nice backdrop and make some more!

Oh and don't forget to post them up either.

My sister started out with a $400 Walmart camera and a hobby. Now her camera and equipment is worth more than my car. Hell you might even get hooked up with a magazine or something.

Much respect to your sister! I am doing this as a second-branch hobby; I am studying filmmaking, so I guess photography isn't that far. But my friend that helped me take this photo has some really high-end equipment with lenses and shit.
