X pipe

I am getting stainless works header in a few day. I already have an slp axle back. I am getting no cats. How hard is it to do the install. And how hard and what else would i need to take out the resinator and replace it with an x pipe. What will it do to the sound? I have a l99. Thanks.

Depends on which one you get. Someone sells a complete replacement X pipe that's the size of the L99 resonator section. It's a bolt on, IIRC. You can also get a magnaflow true X pipe and have a shop weld it in.
