Will a front wheel work on the rear also?

Getting wheels for the track (road course, not drag strip) but thought I'd take along one of the stock 1LE fronts as a "just in case" for track days. I drive 200-350 miles to the events and was stuck once with my GT500 when I blew a tire and ended up bending the rim when it caused me to go off track. Took two days to get a wheel and tire that would work.....anyway, back to the question....will a front fit ok on the rear if need be to get me home in the unlikely event of a similar issue at a future event?

I know I could jack up the car this weekend and check, but thought someone would know. Thanks!

I am putting my track tires on the 9 inch rims from any 2010 or newer rear wheel on all four corners. I have done this with my last 2 SS cars and no problems.

I prefer a square setup, too.

There's nothing that would prevent it from working. The car's suspension is tuned for the larger wheels in back, but for an emergency would work fine.
