Switchback help

I got my new switchback lights in and one of them works on white but only goes to amber if you push down and rock the bulb when signal is on.driver side works fine. Got them from ijdmtoy.com. Got the resisters tapped on the 2 outer wires for the socket

Sorry to say, but i had the same troubles with the switchbacks. I called AAC cause i had bought theirs, and the lead technician told me that theyve had reports of the passenger side socket and the switchbacks not cooperating. they told me theres nothing they can do so i just cut off one of the 4 pins on the base of the 3157 so that neither of them stay white ever and they only flash amber.

i honestly have been haveing this problem as well.... at first i got what you described.. then it went out all together. it takes some time but i found if you have the bulb in just the right place and the ballast in just the right place they work like a charm.. once you find that sweet spot put it back in the bumper and it will work.

your call.. easy fix if you dont like it and it starts going out. fixed my a few weeks ago and no problem.. used zip ties to secure it in place so no chance of movement.

Just a follow up. .. I got the bulbs to work. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1362877640.672854.jpg

Size: 197.8 KB. This is the stock bulb. The new ones had like a groove that hold the bulb in and in the socket was 2 pins that were pushing the bulb back up. I used a dremel to grind down on the bulb where it was stopping it from staying down.
