Took mine in for a loud scraching noise coming from the ac compressor car only has 2000 miles on it they fixed it but i made the mistake of not telling them DO NOT WASH IT !!!!! well they did and the paint is all screwed up. swirls all over...

We, the internet sympathize with your plight. Sounds like possibly 2, maybe even 3 hours of work to fix this.

Heh heh.......he is worried about swirls......
And I live out on the end of a dirt road 3/4 mile lomg , swirls are the least of my worries,nothing to get pissed off over

when it went in with no swirls and came out covered yes its worth getting pissed about...this car has never bin in rain or sat out in the elements at all i drive it clean it and put the cover back on.

I get pissed at myself when I do something stupid to my car when I'm trying to be careful. I can't imaging how irate I would be at somebody that screwed up my paint because they didn't give a flip...

Sucks but to their defense you forgot to tell them not to clean it. They think they are doing a nice thing and for 99% of the population they are, thing is we live in the 1% that value the look of our car.

I keep a sign in my glove that I hang each time my car it is at the dealer. It says "Do Not Wash" and "No Lave El Carro"! I also always request the same mechanic and service advisor when I book my service, they too know washing is 100% off limits.

while I used to enjoy washing and detailing my car, I now just end up with a sore back and knees. However, my car has never been to any kind of car wash that is a drive thru or whatever. The dealer knows not to touch my car except to do whatever work they need to do.
It costs me $30, including tip, to get it washed, but it is done by a professional detailer who knows that I know where he lives and that I am usually armed.

I have been laughing for an hour over this. Dont know why. If I could fit that on a vanity plate I would.
