Need more HF output
I have some HF hearing loss, so I prefer my systems a little brighter than normal. With the stock BA system I had the treble cranked up to about 10 or so. So now I've installed a FARK with a JL XD700/5 and now that the center speaker is disabled, I find the sound a bit dull even with the treble maxed out. What would be the best (simple) way to gain some more HF output/clarity? New tweets?
Right now, I would say that the I prefer the BA system over the XD700/5 (at low volumes) I like jazz and 60's-70's rock and listen at moderate volume levels (Yes, I'm old) Last edited by kencam; 03-08-2013 at 08:03 AM. |

Look at a set of Hybrid Audio Technology or Focal tweeters. I have the HAT L1SE's in the Camaro and Focal Polyglass's in the wife's car. Very clean. Over 5k, I'm def and these sound great.
