Well I sent an email to technostalgia 3 days ago asking some questions about the lights, no response yet. I guess they are busy but I expected an answer by now.

What about all the problems that people here were having with these lights draining the battery when the car wasn't started for a while? Has that been corrected? I really liked these, but I had an 04 GTO that in stock form constantly drained the battery when not started for a while. Really annoying- and I sure don't want that problem again.

Yes it will drain the battery if it sits for awhile but all you need is a Ctek charger (50-60 bucks) and that will not be an issue. Or place a switch on the hot wire to turn them off when car is stored. Two easy solutions there as I dont think any fix is planned. If it is a daily driver then it is not an issue.

I had mine installed since Jul 2012. No problem with the lights. It did drain my battery after 2 weeks. I put a switch in so I can toggle between battery (always on) and switched ignition power. I did this so I can use the hazzard lights without the key but under normal driving I leave it in the ignition switch location.

dmiotti I sent you a pm

Yes these lights do put a constant draw on the battery so if you only drive occasionally you need to do something, (switch or trickle charge) to address this. I have been told all lights are now pressure tested for seal.

I've had a few issues with mine but each time I sent them back to technostalgia with no problems. Best bet is to buy them local (Which I didn't do) so the company here has to deal with technostalgia and warranty stuff and you dont. If... something like that happens.

Yes I did. I placed a switch on the negative line and mounted in my trunk. Works great.
