what would you do??

so I've been thinking about getting a new ss. It looks like I could take all the mods off my 2LT and trade it in and my payments would be around the same. So the question is do I take apart my v6 and start all over or keep going with what I got?

How much do you have invested in your 2lt now? That would make up my mind.

1) why take off the parts? Are you assuming they will work on an SS?
2) need more info on how much you owe on the LT and how quickly you could pay it off

I owe 3100 right now. Most of the parts on there are v6 specific but a dealership will not pay for mods. I could recoup probably 2000 in used parts and I still have cams and ported heads sitting in a box.

Figure out what the dealership would give you. Then do the numbers on paying it off and selling the car yourself, mods installed.

why not? go for it! it's going to be really hard selling a newer car like that privately, usally private buyers are looking for cheap cash vehicles. the good thing is camaros really hold their value well..... i wonder how much they will depreciate once the 2014 is unveiled.

Go for what you would love the most! Both trim levels are great.

I'd remove all the parts -- the dealership isn't going to give you more money for mods installed, you might as well recoup that money by selling those mods privately.

i would also remove the parts and sell them to fund the mods for the new one.

Just depends, if I owed only 3100 on mine I'd just pay it off and be happy with it. Oh, to not have a car payment anymore :( I owe 20k on mine, haven't had it long.

3k away from owning outright, I'd keep it. you'll have it paid of in the next year I'm assuming. at the least, I'd enjoy not having a car payment for a couple years and wait till the the 6th gens are out.

Depends how bad you want the SS. Is your money situation okay for it. I say go for it!

If the choices are paid off LT or new SS, I would choose paid off in a heart beat.
