Awesome! Installed mine tonight too. Toughest CAI I ever installed, but so worth it. Took me an hour, but could do someone's in probably 40 minutes now. I was crazy paranoid about breaking something.

Now it sounds like my air raid did on my CTS-V.....which was awesome!

Thinking about doing this as well......anyone know if it messes with the warranty with GM?

No warranty issues and no tune required. This is why almost everybody is going with this set-up.

Took me a lot longer than any other CAI I've done to install also. The whole system is too tight with too small of a boot. Glad to see proof of a rwhp gain of 21!!

Installed mine on Good friday. One comment I'd like to make is that it would be nice to offer some sort of solution to relocate what appears to be a ground stud that is right up against the end of the air filter.
I didn't even notice it untill it wqas pointed out by someone else afterwards.
If that ground stud was relocated, would it then make it possible to remove/replace the air filter without dismantling the intake shroud, etc?
or am I overlooking something?

There is a thread that shows a few members on here that have relocated the ground screw to a better location. It's the location where you remove the existing plastic clip when you first disassemble the stock air box.

I had this problem as well on the tube that goes between the Tb and maf sensor housing, TILL i figured out i had that tube in backwards. You might want to check it our if you had the same problem as i did!

Good point. The brass fitting molded in the inlet elbow should be to the bottom-not on top.
Even with the elbow properly installed, the entire intake has closer tolerances in fit as compared to our other Camaro intake systems. The throttle body location forced us to squeeze in all of the components. We refused to sacrifice filter size which means we are close on the jump stud and the air box vertical wall extends to the side of the radiator. Performance/accurate MAF readings dictated the shape as well as the overall length of the MAF housing.
Our intakes use a rigid mounting system to the air box which provides a tight seal to prevent air from entering the filter. With this mounting, we must incorporate a flex or hump hose to absorb motor rock. From there we make the radius on the inlet elbow as gentle as possible while still maintaining adequate clamping surface on either end of the elbow. On the throttle body side, we use a step hose which also absorbs some engine movement while providing positive alignment to the throttle body.
It all goes together and functions great, but with absolutely no room to spare!
