Trans. Cooler help
Hey everyone I'm about to order a new extra transmission cooler and I need help getting one that fits. Do the SS kits fit the v6 if not where can I get the lines that do fit. What brand or kit is the best I wanna get the ADM kit for 250 but I wanna make sure it fits. If you have a cooler tell us how you like it and if it works good

We just built ours. I didn't even know they made a kit, LOL. Learn something new every day.

I had a trans cooler. Name started with a B if I remember correctly. Wasn't no specific kit. It was just 2 hoses and the cooler. So simple

Yeah, don't overthink a transmission cooler. The car, as stock, already has lines that run to the radiator. All you have to do is remove the return line, plumb a new line to your new cooler, then run a return line off your new cooler to where the old return line used to connect. Doesn't matter what size or shape, really, as long as it sits in some cool airflow and there's a way to bracket it in.

Flex-a-lite makes one just for the 5th Gen, about $120.00. Funny this comes up now. I just installed mine last night. Very nice setup no holes to drill goes to factory holes about 1 1/2 hours to install. Darn box is at work so I'll try to find the number ordered it from JEGs. I used "Fuel Injection" hose clamps instead of their worm gear clamps. At my shop FI clamps are used on every cooler job, I feel it is a better clamp others may not just my opinion.

under the video he said he dropped about 25 degrees in temp.

I used the B&M trans cooler. Worked great. For between the radiator and the intercooler nicely
