So before I dove into a big detail on the camaro I tried out the Griots products on my 2003 F150 and then my 1997 Chaparral.

The truck entailed a wash, clay, polish with #2, then #3, one step sealant, and finally best of show wax. Love how it turned out! Looks amazing!

The boat entailed a wash, one step sealant and wax. We always get comments that it can't be a 1997. After this detail theres no way people will believe its 17 years old!

Thanks to all the detailers here who have given the time to share their knowledge and experiences for others to correctly detail!

I do the same thing I test products on my Jeep first before using them on the Camaro.I was looking for a low luster vinyl and rubber dressing and recently tested Chemical Guys matte interior and exterior satin shine dressing on the Jeep.The interior looks like new and it makes the tires black and not shiny.
