Painted my coils Chevy Orange!
I'm currently waiting on my coils to dry. I was going to paint them with G2 IOM but decided to go with Chevy Orange and stay with that classic color from years ago.
I recently installed Holley black krinkle valve covers and MTI 8mm wires so I decided to try this method for more of an appearance instead of dishing out money for MSD or Accel coils. Sent from my Apple sued Galaxy Note 2

Thanks everyone.
I done a few hose relocations and thought about how I could add color without spending 500 to 1k on dressup stuff. So I went to Oreillys and bought adhesion promotor and chevy orange paint... took 2.5 hrs. 3 coats of promotor, 2 light paint coats and then a final wet coat, followed by 2 coats of clear. you missed a big part of this though. I also painted mine CGM to match my car, but I also painted the bolts that mount them. Now take them back off, do the bolts, and put them back on. If you are going to do it, don't be missing on the details.
LOL! I do like that orange. |
