Time for a stroker

I recently had a lifter collapse on me, after further inspection i noticed the oil pan is covered in metal shavings. Im assuming it is bearing material but im not positive. I figured if i have to rip the entire engine out there is no better time to upgrade. My question is who would you suggest i look into to build my short block that is fairly local?

My recomendation is T&T Performance in Frederick Md. Tim did my engine swap in my wife's suburban. Took the 5.3 out and dropped the mild build LS3 in. It runs true and strong. Wife loves it.
2010 BumbleBee 2SS/RS Stainless Works headers 1 7/8, Roto-Fab CAI, Magnaflow 3" cat back exhaust with X-pipe, Ported and polished Mast Motorsports LS3 heads, ported and polished TB, LSXR FAST 102 intake ported to match heads, CAM and Tuned by T&T Performance 498RWHP 468RWTQ still getting 24mpg hwy VDI vertical doors installed by T&T Performance
