Anybody swap out there T-stat for a cooler one and/or tune so the fans come on earlier?

That's not what he asked. Yes to both. Just keep in mind what each thing does and how it will effect your engine.

Thanks, just thinking since it gets so hot most of the year here in Florida of maybe putting a little cooler t-stat in it and/or having Trifecta mod my tune and have the fans kick on a little earlier. I noticed when i went to the track my temps were 200-212 the whole time.

Without the a/c on, the fans will not kick until about 215 or so. Turn on the a/c and the temp won't go over 190 or so. I let mine idle with the a/c on while I smoke during work (I drive all over for my job) and it doesn't affect the temps, even in Phoenix. Save your money and time.

Dropping in a cooler thermostat "may" not allow the engine to achieve full operating temperature under some conditions, so the computer might hold cold engine parameters, wasting fuel and running too rich.

I just say no.
