Thermostat
Anybody swap out there T-stat for a cooler one and/or tune so the fans come on earlier?

Thanks, just thinking since it gets so hot most of the year here in Florida of maybe putting a little cooler t-stat in it and/or having Trifecta mod my tune and have the fans kick on a little earlier. I noticed when i went to the track my temps were 200-212 the whole time.

Without the a/c on, the fans will not kick until about 215 or so. Turn on the a/c and the temp won't go over 190 or so. I let mine idle with the a/c on while I smoke during work (I drive all over for my job) and it doesn't affect the temps, even in Phoenix. Save your money and time.
Dropping in a cooler thermostat "may" not allow the engine to achieve full operating temperature under some conditions, so the computer might hold cold engine parameters, wasting fuel and running too rich. I just say no. John B.
