Goodyear tires on 1LE

None of which corresponds to replacing the tires currently on the car.

I like the grip they have but the wear is terrible. I'm gonna go with something that's gonna last me a little longer.

In this size, you aren't going to find much. Almost all tires in this size have a ~200 treadwear.

Here in CA, I'm not too worried about low temps and really like the Goodyears. But when it comes time to replace, the Michelin's are high on the candidate list.

As I'm in Phoenix and it's been hot, I've had no problems whatsoever with the tires, including in the rain.

Michelin PSS is where it's at right now. These tires grip better than the GY and last longer. I've pushed the Michelin very hard on my M5 and the tires still look great at close to 12K miles.

NT01 available but waiting for vendors to get them. They were released just like 2 weeks ago I think.

Nitto dose make a P295-35 20" in the Invo . It just one steep up in size from the P285 that come on the car . I am going to give a set of these a try on my car when the Goodyears are done .http://www.nittotire.com/Tire/invo#size

Informative thread. I am in Phoenix but will do a run or two to Flagstaff where depending on time of year can be colder. Won't go when it's really cold.

Based on that if I get the Michelin's will they look similar to the stock Goodyears on the car and will they be better in the wet? How much? Has anyone tried them, are they better in the cold.

The Michelin has a square shoulder, and is good in the rain.

INVO isn't up to par on the level of grip as the other tires mentioned.
