Change rear diff before track day on Monday

Thus will be tge third time to the track. It has 2800 miles. Should I use stock gear oil or something else. Thanks

Mobil 1 or Royal Purple with a bit of limited slip additive. Track sessions are hard on fluid and generate a ton of heat, its better to have a synthetic and change it regularly due to the abuse.

Yep, I would change it prior to hitting the track.

I was told by my dealer that the stock diff fluid is synthetic. I just had them service it with synthetic, going to the track this weekend.

A drive to the grocery store is creates more heat than a 14 second track run.

You need to change after 24 hours of track time. See the manual.

You can get it from a GM dealer or any auto parts store. I used generic additive from Advance, no issues.
