4 hour Endro, who wants in? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey Everyone,

I have been on the forum for a while and I wanted to share this opportunity with my fellow Camaro drivers. I just started working for SSC Racing, www.sscracing.com, and we are hosting a 4 Hour Endurance Karting race at the end of July(Sunday the 26th) @ California Speedway. The event site is here: www.rotaxenduro.com.

It is 3-4 person teams completing Le Mans style for 4 hours and winner has the most laps completed. The event is designed to be fun and introduce people to the sport of Karting. If we get enough people we can organized a camaro5 mini competition between multiple camaro5 teams.

Also I can arrange a free testing day for the teams to get familiar with the kart and the track. The testing day can be arranged any weds or fri before the event.

The cost for everything- kart, suit, helmet, tires, gas, oil, and track time is only $306 per person with a 4 person team.

$306 for two days of karting!

Let me know if you guys decide to put together some teams and I will set up the test day.

I've done the indoor tracks, and they are great... I will let you know, try to get some buddies involved...

How does the cost break down?

I went to the website, and I guess the TEAM pays $ 377 (divided by 4?), plus a driver registration?

I broke it down by drive including a kart rental, if you have a kart we can rent you the engine and it would be cheaper. There is the team cost 377+ kart 250 + per person registration+ 150 it equals out to be $306 x 4 per team

If you considering this event sign up before the 17th for $25 off for each driver, also if we do not get enough sign ups before Monday the 20th we will have to cancel the event. So get your friends and neighbors and put together some teams for this fun enduro. Sign up at www.rotaxenduro.com

Unfortunately, I can't find anyone to do this. I will also be down in bakersfield for that weekend. Maybe next year though.
