gt500 slayer is FIXED..

I can say after the disappointment at camarofest I was really determined to figure it out..

get this..

8500 miles on the car and the intercooler water pump took a dump... tje car was going into boost protection because I.a.ts were going nuts.. at first it was speratic but it got progresivly worse. Got my hp working and figured it out...

8500 miles.. aint that some poop...

I have seen a couple tuned on here that have had that issue. one I believe was even being tuned at lingenfelter when it happened. the question now is will it be warrantied or are they gonna say your fault due to mods?

Im going to take the car up there next week. I put a ice chest in the v trunk with a 4 gpm pump and my I.a.ts are about 50 degrees under the tower and after a burnout and full pass never got over 100 and for as hard a ss im spinning this little blower I dont think I can expect much more.

Rpm? The blower rpm is right under 25000 right now.. the b absolute safe limit.. I had blower apart over the weekend and it looks good after 5500 miles if driving with this pulley combo.

A full track pass.. ice down, get in lanes, turn pump on under tower, do burnout, make full pass.. never sees over 100 degrees.

its a 4gpm pump..

im going to try and get factory pump fixed.. if they wont do it im going to put quick disconnects up front so I can connect the factory heat exchanger while driving car on street. At the track I dont want the heatvexchanger in the loop..
