My 3 inch cat back was a billy boat and it weighed a ton. I would not suggest it to anybody. Fit was terrible and it was heavier than stock. The 5-6 feet of stock mid pipe(factory L99 H-pipe) left on my car that goes from my dynatech cats to 13 inches before first set of exhaust hangers (at diff) is actually pretty light. The competition 2.5 inch maganflow weighs very little because it is straight pipe. I was at Jannetty Racing in august and he told me that dyno proven... the stock exhaust flows so well that a 3 inch cat back nets a couple of CRANK hp at most on N/A applications. Def not a bang for your buck mod. Trust me I feel completely stupid having spent $1400 on my cat when I could have saved nearly 1000$ and put it towards a Cam like NIGHT FURY! thats bang for your buck awesomeness.

We're talking 600+whp supercharged engines though.

Last time I was here it made 569.7 it made 588.8 first pull cold. I'll post later on some average runs.

Wow, almost 20rwhp just by switching to a 3in. Are the temps similar between the two visits?

3.2% gain on the second pull. Too bad we don't know the da on both days.

I had to leave early to pick up the kids(plan changed on arrangements while I was there). These are SAE #s so they are close to correct. The conditions this trip was 75.5* 29.34" and 45% humidity so I'll have to look on my old sheet to see what they were but memory tells me it was about the same.
