Dual Mode exhaust

This weekend I traded my LT RS for a new 2013 SS/RS with preformance shifter and Dual mode exhaust. Does the LS3 get any extra HP out of the Dual Mode exhaust?

Nothing to write home about, maybe 4-5 HP if that much.

Pretty much no. I think the corvette is rated for a few extra, haven't seen any thing on te camaro. Sounds better than normal stock. Love mine.

My car is at 402rwhp with just the mods I have. I was told by a GM engineer you get 6HP more at the back wheel with it over stock exhaust.

Was there a noticeable difference in driveability after the VMax tbody?

I've got catted LTs into the NPP, a CAI and it's been tuned and mine only put down 403rwhp!

Yes,there is a 4-6hp gain.GM isn't going to pay to re certify the NPP.This was already done with the Corvette, and proven then.

Bolted one up to my '10 and capped off the vac lines so it runs wide open all the time. Swear to god it sounds more like a 'Vette than a Camaro. There's just this raspy purr and a subtle idle note that makes it sound more than just your typical LM1/Thrush/Flowmaster/Magnaflow/Cat back du jour car back in the days of the LS1 F-bodies.

Went from a full exhaust, CAI intake, skip shift eliminated, LS1 T/A to this car and with just the NPP I stopped modding. Can not believe how much better it makes the car sound wise and presence wise.

It's also hilarious when a Z06 pulls up at a show and, driven by a mid life crisis driver, asks what exhaust I put on my car. I just point to the valves on his exhaust.. priceless response.

Totally different car and exhaust system. Numbers don't carry over.

The mid life crisis driver most likely just got his car back from Lingenfelter. Mid lifers can afford it. Wanna play with the old guys now?
