Question About to buy Night Fury Cam, Stall, LS3 Conversion...Words of encouragement

So im about to pull the trigger on the Night fury cam, Ls3 conversion, Yank 3200 stall, u/d pulley and all the other crap that goes with it.

Doing the install myself. Ive read a ton of opinions on the forum, and everyone seems to think drivability is excellent, and almost everyone seems to be running a similar setup problem free.

I'm really tight with my money, so that is the main hurdle, which i think Ive gotten over, given the amount of fun I think the car will be and the great sounding idle.

Second is I plan to keep the car long term, and it is a daily driver, 12k-15k miles per year (90% highway), so I want everything to last.

Im ready for more power, and this will keep me happy for the long term instead of drooling over a new vette or a zl1 for power-envy.

I'm being safe, arp bolts where it counts, trunion upgrade, oil pump, dampner, trans cooler, titanium retainers and I dont ever plan to go forced induction.

What does everyone think? Send some good vibes my way about spending all the money and messing with a DD.

I'm expecting 470-480rwhp (which seems very common)
Current mods
CAI Inc CAI
SP LT 1 7/8" Headers
Ported TB
HF Cats
SOLO Axleback
Lethal racing Dyno Tune
TR6 NGK plugs

Chris I say do it and don't look back. We talked briefly at C5F IV about your setup, and you won't regret it. Of course it's going to take some getting used to with the stall and the cam, but not as much as it is for us LS3 guys in parking lots at low RPMs/MPH. As long as you pick quality parts, you won't have an issue.

My wife and I both have NF in our cars. Very happy with our choice. Lethal provides excellent customer service as well just in case you have issues. Keep us posted on how it turns out.

Looks like good parts. Lethal's cam kit is a very good one.
What stall? ProTorque sells some very good ones.

Yank 3200SS is what they recommended, what Ive seen a couple others run, and seemed like a good price ($720)

I put 15k miles on my nf cam'd Vette last year! That was boosted at 700whp not driven nicely! it's going in my SS next in 2 weeks! Best cam out there IMO!!

Yea, the only thing that slowed my progress down was the fact I Bought brand new wheels and tires (2500$, the money that I would have used to get my setup done) right around the time I was going to do the cam swap. I'm actually glad I held off, because now I'm going with PRC 255 heads along with the PCM of NC '545' cam in November. Looking for 490-500rwhp or bust.

NICE, thats gonna be awesome, you should be able to squeeze 500 out of it with the heads man!

You can always port the stock intake manifold too
