What do you use to clean the body of the car.
I just bought a 2014 LS2 today blue ray metallic, and absolutely love it.
I notice a lot of fingerprints on the doors from closing them on drivers and passengers side. What the best cleaner to use on the finish? |

I quickly learned to train everyone to use the thin black strip at the bottom of the window to close my doors to prevent those finger prints. Yeah, I know, that is a little OCD.
A small spray bottle of Meguire's detailer always rides in my trunk along with a couple of microfibers for quick touch ups.

Blue ray is a beautiful color. I just waxed mine 2 days ago and yesterday it already had a layer of dust

Thanks guys. Yes I love that color I was lucky they had it on the lot. Maguiers ok, I'll get some. I have to train myself not to touch the doors when I'm closing them.

I normally use cotton towels or microfiber and always carry some quick touch up detailer

I either use the weather-stripping or door handle to shut the door. First dust it off, then use detail spray and microfiber or you will scratch the paint.

Wow, was it difficult swapping that LS2 into there?
Haha, obviously I'm kidding, call it a 2LS or people will give you heat! For those fingerprints, I used a soft microfiber to rub them out, no need for detailer spray unless the person just got done eating ribs!

I only touch the door handle when closing the door. My wife thinks I'm a gentleman for opening and closing her door. Truth is she left fingerprints on the door . I don't dare tell her . Happy wife .....................
