Very cool. I get the traction thing w/the Mustang at the end of the race but the Camaros clearly had what it takes to beat the Porsches and Aston Martins. Had a track day this weekend and my SS got schooled by a couple of 1LEs. I just couldn't keep the speed through the turns.

Just a newbie course (37-45 seconds per lap) but very technical. Pictures and video to be posted by some other members soon. |

Hey guys,
Inside scoop, if you want it: The race was very early morning, relative to when we normally compete. We also very little practice/testing. We guessed on the setup based on what John had said in qualifying, and made a very good call for the cool morning temperatures. As the track heated up in my stint, the car got really greasy. I had a very hard time holding on to it, but strategy put me up front. I spent 10 laps or so holding Billy off, but knew it was a matter of time until he realized how much quicker he was than me in the final corner. Not a bad finish to the season, but it was the worst 2nd place finish I've ever had! |
