Are YOU having L99 problems?
Okay, with all these threads popping up I am getting a little nervous. I know there are just a small few having problems and I just want to get that confirmed, so if you have a L99 vote in the poll please!

This is to help future L99 owners feel better by showing them that people really are getting good L99s, I am glad you are so happy about it!

Despite the fact that I voted that I am happy (at least if my iPhone is SOMEWHERE in the zip code of my actual performance):
But it won't help anyone feel better for a number of reasons (I'm writing this as neutrally as possible): -There is a good chance that some non-zero number of unhappy people are having transitory issues (weather, driver, fuel type, break-in, etc.) and their car is actually fine. -There is a good chance that some non-zero number of happy people have not actually benchmarked their cars in some objective way and have not realized their actual performance. This also goes for unhappy people. -Unhappy people are more given to be vocal on the internet about it, creating a perception that ALL L99s are having issues. This is to be expected. -Some vocal happy people are dismissive of the issues of the unhappy people. -Some of the unhappy people have reported that their car has 'on occasion' performed like it should. This creates questions as to where the problem lies and creates questions about the nature of the problem. Reverse this for the happy people. -There is a 'sect' of people on any performance website that would like to continue to see the manual transmission as the better option. The slow L99 problem plays into this, and some people that are uncertain and have fear about the automatic performance at least can understand the certainty of a human instead of computer screwing up. Combine all these factors, and there is simply no way you'll get a good sampling of this on any website. The reality is that some L99 owners are unhappy, some are happy, and it's difficult to quantify what exactly is the problem that the unhappy ones are experiencing. I hope they get their issues resolved. My own personal theory is that there are some people that are having actual problems. GM should fix this. Others are not having problems but have unrealistic expectations. There's nothing we can do about that. I am certain that a good majority of the L99s are actually fine, but perhaps the stock tune is too conservative or suffers from too much variation on performance...unfortunately this might be compounded by poor summer conditions and the fact that the L99 seems to have some 'tricks' to launching it properly.

You have a poll for only two options, which means you're gunna get joe blow who doesn't even own a L99 click "Vote Now" for what ever answer he wants, since there isn't even an option of clicking None. So... you get the for bad survey making :(

I love GM, I just have the need for speed and my new Camaro should be just a quick or a little quicker then the GTO I got rid of to get it.
