Having thoroughly enjoyed myself meeting you all the other week, I left feeling inspired - by James and his paint brush in particularly. So with a weekend to spare for a change I set to on my creation. What do you think?

Thanks Tom!

Yeah, in case I cocked it up, lol! Can't decide whether I'm gonna infill the yellow yet and convert to a more subtle outline like James'. Just realised you've got yellow detailing under your bonnet too!

P.S. Hood Lining is only any old Plastazote thick Foam Rubber-like sheet as a Noise baffle.
You don't need to worry about importing a GM one.
Anything will do ... or not if you like Noise! :-)

I drove around without one for a month while I did my liner. Engine was a tad cooler too :-)

It's a new morning, and after a sleep I say: Make it an outline. Thicker than my 5mm outline, for your Yellow to come across a saturated full Yellow still... say 12mm to 15mm?
Maybe do an Adobe PhotoShop or Adobe Illustrator simulation first?
I can do for you if you email me a full resolution Photo :-)

Thanks James, I've been having the same debate with myself all week! Lol. I think I agree! Would love to see a illustration, I don't have the software or ability to do that though :(

Would you mind? That would be awesome! Pm me your email address and I'll send a pic!

Love DIY mods though, much cheaper and more sense of satisfaction!

As per James' advice, converted to an outline. With the tail lights, hood liner, and wheel centre caps 'transformed' I think that'll do for now. Gonna stick with the performance mods for the time being!
